From one of the world’s most renowned wine regions, 2020 Château Guillaume Blanc Bordeaux Blanc Supérieur is a harmonious blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. One of France’s most-planted white varieties, Sémillon takes on the citrusy characteristics of its cousin, Sauvignon Blanc, in cool climate regions like Bordeaux.
Expressing a bouquet of lemon, lime zest, grapefruit, and white flowers, this white blend unfolds with vibrant flavor on the palate. A round, generous mouthfeel reveals touches of minerality and luscious hints of honey and nuts.
This blend is presented by Château Guillaume Blanc, a winery situated on the outskirts of the Gironde where it benefits from a complex, unique terroir. Dating back to the 16th century, the domaine has a sustainable agriculture certification, and winemakers are committed to using environmentally respectful practices to craft elegant wines with unforgettable character.
Best served chilled (about 46–55°F), this Bordeaux Blanc is an ideal pairing partner to shrimp, oysters, and grilled fish dishes. It’s also excellent with goat cheese and Comté.
Blend of: 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Sémillon.
