2016 Bardolay Syrah-Grenache Pays d’OC

2016 Bardolay Syrah-Grenache Pays d’OC

Velvety red blend from a fifth-generation French winemaker

Fifth-generation French winemaker Frederic Garrabou conceived the Bardolay line of wine to evoke the time when Romans exported expertly made wines from the local ports in the South of France. 2016 Bardolay Syrah/Grenache displays all the elegance and expertise of French winemaking, transmitted through the generations and still used today. Made from 70% Syrah and 30% Grenache Noir, it is a glossy cherry red in the glass with a lot of red berry aromas like strawberry and raspberry. The palate is tasty and velvety with some licorice on the finish. Enjoy this wine with beef stew, game meats, and strong cheese.
