Two of France’s most iconic red grapes come together harmoniously in 2019 Château Haut d'Arzac Bordeaux Rouge, a smooth Bordeaux red that satisfies with every sip. Glistening deep ruby red in the glass, this dry, full-bodied French wine greets you with an exuberant nose of rich candied fruits and spices. Blackberries, red fruits, and prunes emerge with pleasant freshness, joined by hints of mocha and licorice. The palate is structured and full of character with savory tannins. This predominantly Merlot blend is rounded out with Cabernet Sauvignon to create a balanced wine that represents the character of Bordeaux, one of the world’s most renowned wine regions. Grapes were selected from a private vineyard with traditional winemaking methods used in the cellar. This blend is presented in partnership with Yvon Mau, a wine producer and trading house offering Bordeaux wine expertise since 1897. 2019 Château Haut d'Arzac Bordeaux Rouge is a versatile choice for dinner parties, barbecues, or casual weeknight meals. Uncork this with roasted or grilled meats, cheesy casseroles, barbecue chicken pizza, enchiladas, and lentil soup. Blend of: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

      Well-balanced and Nuanced

Deep ruby color pleasing to the eye with a great nose, notes of berries, and excellent structure. As well-balanced a wine as I have had lately, with soft tannins and a lingering, chewy finish. As it oxygenates, it expands without losing form--a wonderfully nuanced wine.
