No, not really. This may be a blend like that of Châteauneuf-du-Pape or other parts of the Rhône, but we have a good example here of the role of terroir. Pays d'Oc soils simply can't produce.the same degree of nuance. That said, this wine is tasty and well-made. It works with a variety of foods, and it can also be used for a sipper. I'd grow very tired if I drank this every day, but once a month??? No problem!
