Following in the delicious footsteps of its gold medal-winning previous vintage, 2020 Roche Mazet Chardonnay is richly aromatic and full of flavor. Like gold in the glass, this superb white wine was crafted in Pays d’Oc in the South of France. Pale yellow with shimmering highlights, this medium-bodied Chardonnay first entices with aromas of honeyed pears, fresh almonds, and sweet spices. Grapes were harvested manually and fermented to optimize its lush flavor notes of tropical and tree fruits. The palate is well-rounded with hints of woodsy vanilla. Presented by Castel Frères, Roche Mazet showcases the extraordinary terroir of Pays d’Oc through a line of elegant yet easygoing wines. Castel Frères represents three generations of winegrowing heritage, producing quality wines from vineyards across France since 1949.
