From the heart of the Corbières wine region comes a blush wine that boasts the perfect pale pink color, lively aromas of red fruit, and hints of white flower. The 2022 Garmence Rosé Vallee du Paradis IGP is the ideal elevated summer sipper. Separated from the Meditteranean Sea by limestone mountains, the climate of Corbières is hot and dry in the summer, with heavy thunderstorms in the fall, winter, and spring months. The strong northwest wind, known as the Tramontane, dries the grapes and provides extra sanitation, protecting them from disease.
Using traditional vinification methods, Carignan grapes are harvested in the cool morning before undergoing short skin maceration. They are then softly pressed and fermented in steel, temperature-controlled vats. This process preserves the crisp fruit flavors and aromas.
