2023 Fleur de Roche Sauvignon Blanc

A perennial favorite has returned! If you’re quick, you’ll get to taste why it’s a go-to for so many customers … Fleur de Roche Sauvignon Blanc comes from the South West region of France (home to Atlantic-wind swept hills and well-draining sandy soils). It's named for a local plant known for its medicinal properties, a tongue-in-cheek nod to the reported health benefits of including wine in your diet. Previous vintage, it medaled at the 2021 Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition, so we’re excited for you to taste the newest, equally tasty release. Crisp and dry with medium body, it opens with aromas of cut herbs, mango, and citrus peel, followed by cheek-pinching flavors of green apple, lime, guava, and white peach. Feeling snacky when sipping? Goat cheese is Sauvignon’s classic match – try it crumbled on top of a spinach and strawberry salad. Other great food matches include pan-roasted red snapper, turkey club, or veggie tartes.
