Crafted by fourth-generation winemaker Stephan Basson at Babylon’s Peak, the 2023 Granietkop Cabernet Sauvignon is a showstopping example of Swartland’s bold yet balanced reds. Made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this Western Cape red is matured in older barrels for 8 months to create a well-balanced and smooth-tasting experience. Each sip bursts with vibrant ripe mulberry and fresh raspberry, balanced by soft tannins and carried through a long, silky-smooth finish. "I am not a wine expert for sure. I cannot pick out flavor notes. But I know what I like and I’m really glad I tried it. It’s pretty mellow and easy to drink. Also glad I purchased 6 bottles so I can share it with family and friends."
