"I mostly drink dry wines, but Gewürztraminer requires a bit of sweetness to bring out its highly aromatic floral/ lychee character. This wine, which is pretty dry, loses that character, and you're left with some spiciness and minerality on the palette, but little else. I'm sure this would appeal to some, but it's not representative of the varietal."
