With an award-winning pedigree, 2023 Tercius Branco Tejo is a white blend that is uniquely fresh and fragrant. Made from local grape varieties, including Trincadeira das Pratas, Fernão Pires, and Arinto, this Portuguese blend is a thirst-quenching pleasure.
Opening with a pleasant bouquet, this dry white blend entices with tropical aromas of pineapple and mango combined with delicate floral notes. With hints of citrus and minerality on the palate, it is medium-bodied with an elegant mouthfeel. The long, beautifully perfumed finish beckons for another sip.
Located in the heart of Portugal between the cities of Coimbra and Lisbon, Tejo is considered one of the country's oldest winemaking regions, with early traces of production dating back to the 12th century. Tejo offers perfect conditions for grape-growing, as it is home to a rich diversity of soils nourished by the slow-moving Tagus River.
Tercius is produced by Falua Sociedade de Vinhos, led by award-winning winemaker Antonia Barbosa. Knowing she wanted to work with wine since a young age, Barbosa is passionate about creating aromatic, vibrant wines with a sense of place.
Perfect for warm weather, 2023 Tercius Branco Tejo is best served chilled. Pair this with a variety of lighter dishes and fresh fare like grilled white fish, pasta primavera, and salads.
Blend of: Trincadeira das Pratas, Fernão Pires, and Arinto.
