"I’m very confused by this one because it’s won awards and is such a highly rated bottle, but the one I received was very strong vanilla and smelled like a smokey baked good. It tasted so sickly sweet with a strong vinegar after taste, none of which was on any of the tasting notes. I let it breathe but I had to dump it out because it was undrinkable. Super bummed!"

"Cala de’Poeti has become my favorite source for any and all Italian wines, and Montepulciano D’Abruzzo has become my favorite variety of Italian Red. This is such a full-bodied, rich taste and is full of complex flavors that compliments not just Italian foods, but also any meal with heavy, fat-rich proteins. It’s also perfect for sipping by itself. I can’t say enough good things about this wine!"
