South Australia offers everything from rugged coastline and arid outback to fertile, historic vineyards, and it’s from these rich growing areas that this Shiraz draws its generous character. Expect ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry layered with notes of black pepper and cocoa, all coming together with satisfying structure and depth on the palate. Crafted for easy enjoyment, it pairs beautifully with barbecue ribs, mushroom risotto, or a sharp aged cheddar.

It caught my interest and left a good impression

"At my first tasting, I caught the fruity. Only had maraschino cherries in a jar and no idea if I caught black cherries or black currants in it. But it was good and a delightful new taste note for me. My guess is black cherries. A wow with simply jarred Ragu sauce with ground beef added and pat of butter, and vermicelli mixed together from what was leftover. Allowed to mix and mingle overnight. To nuke later at 50% and top with preservative free Parmesan in a jar. Pour this wine. And soooo worth it. Red neck gourmet is the best! Planned Gourmet raid the fridge dining. A dry red wine a mus to Gourmet it. Another new taste was that I did pick up on an alcohol taste. Learned by googling that it is due to a high alcohol content. Checked the label. 14%! It is exciting to pick up on a different tasting note. And I picked up on it was high in alcohol. A new for me. This particular wine gave me TWO new tastes noticed for me. This is why tasting different wines and vineyards is not a waste, Nice mouth feel. And yes, i know watery vs a good mouth feel. Expecting some dry mouth later after learning high acidity does that, after years of cotton mouth at times, knowing it was the wine but not why the wine did it. Any typos etc…the cat In don’t havevdid it b."
