An evidence-based argument why this is no Grüner
"I drink Grüners religiously, and was excited to find one on here so I bought a bunch of bottles. There are a bunch of weird things that are off about this “grüner. ” First of all, it’s corked. Some verrrrrrry fancy expensive Grüners are corked, but not very many. I drink 40 dollar twist-off caps, for instance, because Austrians just don’t usually cork a Grüner. You aren’t supposed to store them so there’s no reason to! Second, the Austrian flag is not on the top of the bottle. Usually, as a twist-off, it is on the tin twist-off, but with a cork, it would be on a tin piece over the cork. Third, and most importantly, I have drank Liter and 1. 5 Liter SWILL from the dregs of the Grüner Veltliner barrels as a graduate student that tasted better than whatever this trash can residue claims to be. It is undrinkable, and I can drink practically anything."
