This light-bodied Moscato opens with a sweetly perfumed bouquet of citrus fruits and orange blossom. On the tongue, juicy notes of peach, apricot, and tangerine mingle with floral overtones. This Moscato is made in the “New World” style, meaning that it is slightly drier than traditional Italian Moscato, yet it still preserves the sweetness that gave the varietal its fame. Moscato belongs to the Muscat family of grapes, one of the world’s oldest grape families! Around for centuries, Muscat made its way to California in the 1850s.
