Home to vineyard-covered hills, this region experiences a combination of cooler Atlantic influences and warmer Mediterranean influences, resulting in expressive, high-quality wines. Rioja is most known for its reds, making this white a hidden gem. This Verdejo is from Zuazo Gastó, an award-winning family winery that has been crafting artisanal wines since 1850. Their Terra Sara line represents easy-drinking wines meant to be enjoyed with a variety of foods while in the company of good friends. Best served chilled, 2023 Terra Sara Verdejo Spain is lovely sipped on its own or paired with cheese plates, fresh salad, shellfish, light fish dishes, and grilled vegetables.
