Awarded 92 points by the San Francisco International Wine Competition, this bold, ruby-red wine comes from the sun-drenched region of Puglia, the historic "heel" of Italy where Primitivo was first cultivated in the 18th century. They make delicious wines across the country, too, like this oak-aged Cuvée de la Familia Tempranillo. This gem from the exceptional 2021 vintage hails from a seasoned winemaker and grape grower with over 25 years in the region, whose impressive resume includes Geyser Peak, Canyon Road, and the Schramsberg label. You may know their sparkling wines, but their Davies Pinots are spectacular at $55+ a bottle. Now, imagine that level of quality in Lot 928 for just under $20 a bottle—truly mind-blowing!

Prepare to be amazed not only by the price but by the wine itself. Lot 928 entices with a captivating nose of red berry fruit, earthy tones, and baking spices. Its soft, creamy texture reveals a luscious mid-palate brimming with dark, juicy, candied red cherry and strawberry flavors. Toasty oak spices and subtle hints of vanilla complete the experience, making this Pinot Noir an absolute must-try.

This expressive Cabernet Franc from Barrancas, Maipú, Mendoza, captures the character of Argentina’s renowned wine country. Deep garnet in color, it reveals notes of roasted bell pepper, white pepper, and subtle hints of chocolate and coffee. This red blend from Washington State’s Columbia Valley showcases a unique, record-setting vintage for the region. 2021 absolutely shattered temperature records in eastern Washington, with a historic heat dome settling over the area. For an average wine-growing region, this would have been potentially disastrous. But because of the incredible vineyard management talent and overall health of the vines in Columbia Valley in general, the source vineyards for Lot 906 weathered the heat like champions, producing high-quality, intensely flavored, power-packed fruit (particularly for the region’s red wine varieties).
Berry sizes were significantly smaller, translating into grapes with an incredible concentration of flavor and fantastic structure (thanks to a higher than normal skin-to-pulp ratio, meaning more tannins to go along with all of that ample dark fruit action). The catch? Yields were way, way down, and much less red wine was made in 2021 as a result.

The 2023 Marquis de Bacalan Bordeaux Rouge captures the essence of Bordeaux winemaking with its masterful 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon blend. black currant and plum aromas entice the senses, while the palate reveals rich black cherry flavors intertwined with earthy undertones.

On the nose, you’re warmly welcomed by expressive aromas of ripe blackberries, crushed gravel, and baking spice, layered with classic notes of cigar box and tobacco. The medium purple hue hints at what’s to come: a juicy—but never jammy—palate that unfolds with black plum, new leather, and subtle tobacco undertones. Mid-range acidity and finely polished tannins lead into a barrel-kissed finish, where vanilla, raspberry, and allspice linger beautifully.

As we said nearly two decades ago in one of our first love letters about Cinergi “together is better.” We think you will agree.

Crafted from 100% Tempranillo, Don Jacobo Vendimia Seleccionada Ecológico hails from the high-altitude slopes of Rioja Alta—an acclaimed subregion known for its clay-rich soils, cool climate, and elegant, age-worthy reds. This smooth wine pours a deep garnet with purple highlights and opens with enticing aromas of roasted oak and dark berries. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied with crushed Cassis, sweet spice, and a fresh, balanced structure.
