Uncork vibrant refreshment with a medal-winning pedigree in 2020 Le Bosq Vin Blanc. This French blend is a pure expression of white grapes Ugni Blanc and Colombard, with a touch of Sauvignon Blanc adding herbaceous hints. As sommelier Chris Hoel notes, this wine is "delicate with a light approach, but not lacking in flavor.” Brimming with a bouquet of citrus and orchard fruits, the palate reveals lime, lemon, and green and yellow apples with hints of chalky minerality. Driven by zesty acidity, the finish is deliciously crisp. Grapes were grown in the sunny South of France for this blend, which is perfect for cocktail hour or served as an aperitif. Best served chilled, Le Bosq Vin Blanc also makes a fine match with fish and chips, grilled shrimp, roast chicken, and salads with fruity components. Blend of: 50% Ugni Blanc (Trebbiano), 40% Colombard, 10% Sauvignon Blanc

      Easy drinking, every day white

While I've been drinking wine for decades, the whole "suitable peach essence with hints of lavender" type of review eludes me. I learned to drink wine in France as a student visiting vineyards and talking to people, and I just know when I find a good wine (and most of them are good). I was very pleased with this one, which is from south/southwest France like many of the French wines on WI. The bottom line is that it's good, not overly acidic, and made enough of an impression for me to order another one almost immediately.

      As good as it gets

The while blend is a perfect drop of wine. Lots of citrus flavors, maybe a little green apple, each mouthful is electric with acidity, and zero oak. I love it.
