Hot tip: Portugal makes wines with HUGE flavors…and very modest price tags. You’ll taste exactly what that means with our ever-popular Tercius. Crafted by rising star winemaker Antonia Barbosa, it puts Portugal’s strong suit—luscious red blends—on delicious display. Comprising local grapes Castelão, Aragonês (aka Tempranillo in neighboring Spain), Trincadeira, and Touriga Nacional (star grape of Port), it's a BIG, jammy beauty with a long history of winning gold + platinum medals. Wait till you try the equally fabulous new release, already singled out by the highly selective judges at the 2021 Sommelier Challenge… Uncork, pour, and unleash huge aromas of ripe blackberries, cherries, and strawberry compote. The palate bursts with more jammy notes, which give way to subtle undertones of toasty oak and vanilla. Decadently smooth and easy-drinking, Tercius is a great companion to roast chicken, French onion soup, or Portuguese octopus (polvo à lagareiro) with roasted potatoes.

      Excellent !

I loved this wine. Smooth, aromatic , jammy and full of flavor. I gave it a 4 but only because I couldn't go higher without giving it a perfect 5.

      Decent table wine

Very pleasant wine from Portugal. Somewhat toward the bland/neutral. We served it with some goat cheese, and later with rosemary baked chicken and the wine taste disappears [was overwhelmed]. Not unpleasant in any way, but not something I would pair with a savoury food. We enjoy many Portuguese wines - Try Fat Baron, that will stand up to anything we serve.
