Rich and layered, this full-bodied red blend delivers a bold yet balanced style. Ripe blackberry flavors are complemented by warm cinnamon, subtle leather, and earthy notes, finishing dry with plenty of depth. Its structure pairs beautifully with rigatoni in a slow-simmered tomato and meat sauce, a hearty vegetable stew, and a cheese board featuring aged cheddar, nutty Gruyère, or creamy Camembert. Crafted in France, the 2019 Cameron Hughes Lot 842 Red Blend offers generous flavor and classic appeal.

Hailing from California’s San Luis Obispo region, this distinctive Pinot Noir showcases a rich, full-bodied expression of the varietal. Juicy strawberry and raspberry notes lead the way, layered with inviting hints of baking spice that add warmth and complexity. Dry, polished, and undeniably food-friendly, it shines alongside grilled lamb chops, creamy mushroom risotto, or aged Gouda, offering a memorable pour that feels both elevated and effortlessly enjoyable.

Everything you'd ever want in a cool climate expression of Pinot Noir from the Sonoma County side of Carneros, with lots of tension and mouthwatering acidity. The aromatic intensity ushers in a bright frame of fruit, calling to mind cherries, cranberries, and raspberries. violet florals and earthy forest floor notes add intrigue. On the palate, those aromatics present tart, tense red berry fruits, and the wine is terrifically racy, with supple tannins that are present but not overpowering, rather bringing beautiful balance to the acid tension. Subtle oak notes in the wine add a frame to the fruit with terrific integration.

California’s Lodi AVA has been one of the world’s most consistent producers of world-class Zinfandel, creating instantly recognizable reds that are impossible not to love, vintage after vintage. It’s no wonder why the classified source for Lot 889 2020 Lodi Zinfandel, along with other major players like Cline, Turkey, and Bedrock have made Lodi the spot for their most important reds.

Historically, Zinfandel has been the most important varietal planted in Lodi (an area that often gets incorrectly categorized as a hot region, when, in fact, climatically, it is more in line with regions like Napa Valley), creating bold, bright expressions of the grape. Currently, at just $16, this is one to grab a case or two of as it will pair marvelously with anything you pull off your grill, or just sip and savor on a warm evening on the patio.

A ripe-styled, full-bodied, intense, and richly-flavored red blend made from grapes with significantly smaller berry sizes translating into an incredible concentration of flavor and structure.

Full-bodied, intense, richly flavored, and yet also buoyant and energetic in the mouth, this 2021 red blend soars with handfuls of red and black fruit action. From the color, to the focus, to the flavor, everything is amped up to “eleven” on the dials with Lot 906, but don’t let the ripe style fool you; there’s a lovely, grippy structure here that will allow this release to rest gracefully in your cellar for a year or two!

Red blends are absolutely on fire lately and have always been one of our top sellers. Wines like Lot 906 2021 Wahluke Slope red Blend demonstrate why that’s the case. (red Blend fans will want to think about buying multiple bottles, why? Keep reading!)

This red blend from Washington State’s Columbia Valley showcases a unique, record-setting vintage for the region. 2021 absolutely shattered temperature records in eastern Washington, with a historic heat dome settling over the area. For an average wine-growing region, this would have been potentially disastrous. But because of the incredible vineyard management talent and overall health of the vines in Columbia Valley in general, the source vineyards for Lot 906 weathered the heat like champions, producing high-quality, intensely flavored, power-packed fruit (particularly for the region’s red wine varieties).

Berry sizes were significantly smaller, translating into grapes with an incredible concentration of flavor and fantastic structure (thanks to a higher than normal skin-to-pulp ratio, meaning more tannins to go along with all of that ample dark fruit action). The catch? Yields were way, way down, and much less red wine was made in 2021 as a result.

A Pinot Noir that is refreshing and balanced, light to medium-bodied with all the hallmarks of being grown in Oregon.

We’ve got a ‘wow’ factor going on in this refreshing and balanced, light to medium-bodied Oregon Pinot Noir, which is officially our favorite new cocktail-hour wine. Showcasing rich, juicy cherry and cranberry fruit, smoky Clove, elegant brown baking spices, conifer, and earth, all hallmarks of Pinot grown in the Pacific Northwest. Add to that vivid blood orange acid tension, and at 13% alcohol, you’ll be reaching for a second bottle before that roasted chicken is done roasting.

It’s always good to be reminded of why certain regions are ideal for growing certain grapes. Lot 909 2022 Oregon Pinot Noir offers a definitive reminder for why Pinot Noir is like the horse to Willamatte Valley’s carriage (they go together like a—you know the song). The dynamic source winery for this Pinot also blended in grapes from the applegate and Illinois Valleys in Southern Oregon. And that, dear friends, is the secret sauce to this bright, irresistible, Pinot Noir.

Named for the Illinois River, the Illinois Valley, is home to the oldest vineyard in southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley AVA, and its high-elevation sandy, silty, gravely soils rife with ancient glacial deposits give vines a struggle for life, which, in this case, translates to elegance. Meanwhile, grapes growing in applegate Valley—a high-elevation, stunning mountainous region—benefit from warm days and cold nights and contribute a plush, juicy quality to Lot 909.
