Save 63% Save $15.00 Beaujolais as you've never experienced it. Lot 852 is a serious, age-worthy expression from the Morgon Cru — a world away from the easy, gulpable Nouveau style the region is famous for. It pours a deep, translucent ruby and immediately opens up with a beautiful, complex nose of fresh cherry and ripe raspberry laced with earthy, loamy depth and a dusting of warm spice. On the palate, medium-plus acidity and silky, perfectly integrated tannins frame a finish that is dry, elegant, and resonant with terroir.
Morgon sits on the western bank of the Saône River, where granite and blue stone soils coax out a firmer, more structured side of Gamay that rewards patience and discernment. This is the Cru Beaujolais that converts skeptics — pour a glass for anyone who thinks Beaujolais is simple, and watch the conversation change. Cellar a few bottles and revisit in two or three years, or open it now alongside roasted duck, mushroom risotto, or a rustic charcuterie board. Either way, you win.

Save 17% Save $4.00 Lot 947 is a $19 Pinot Noir that should cost $59. How can we say that? Because the CHW winemaking team told us it’s from a mind-blowing winery that discontinued its [pricy] Pinot program.
A bowl full of juicy raspberry and blackberry fruit, hints of dark earth notes, like rolling over a log in the forest, hints of black tea, and traces of vanilla. Those red and black fruits really pop on the palate, infused with black tea notes and lifted by mouthwatering, racy acidity. Velvety textures are laced with more vanilla and oak spices. Where does this belong in your cellar? It doesn’t. Drink up and enjoy with rotisserie chicken and potatoes, roasted and brined turkey, or 48-hour salted steaks, or just pour a contemplative glass and park yourself in front of a roaring fire. Yes.
We like to remind you that all day, every day, we do just two things: We scour the world for great grapes or young wine that needs a new home. And we usher those grapes from harvest or those new wines from tank straight through our own winemaking, aging, and bottling—to bring you great bottles at jaw-dropping prices. Our newest fall countdown wine is the pinnacle of just that - we’re leaving our soapbox and letting Lot 947 2018 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, do the rest of the talking.
The thing is, Lot 947 embodies those two things we do (seek out awesome grapes, and make awesome wine). For starters, Lot 947 is 100% Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley—an incredibly exciting region in Sonoma where some of the world’s great Pinot Noir wines are being made today. The winemaking team at CHW will only let us reveal that this was from a premium program that “may have been discontinued,” and they added, “punches way above its weight in both fruit and wood,” and then they told us, “and we’re buying up a bunch of it ourselves!”
Don’t worry, we scrubbed their emails off this one, so you get first dibs! Lot 947 delivers a bowl full of juicy raspberry and blackberry fruits, and hints of dark earth notes lifted by mouthwatering, racy acidity. Velvety textures are laced with more vanilla and oak spices. Where does this belong in your cellar? It doesn’t. It's ready to drink and so delicious right now you won’t want to wait. Drink up and enjoy with rotisserie chicken and potatoes, roasted and brined turkey, or 48-hour salted steaks, or just pour a contemplative glass and park yourself in front of a roaring fire. Yes.

We believe great wine shouldn't come with a markup. This price reflects our 20% everyday savings, just for shopping at Wine Insiders.
Save 17% Save $4.00 An incredible steal from the north of Italy! Perfectly pale garnet in the glass, the nose is everything you'd love to find in a Nebbiolo: cranberry, cherry, and rose wrapped in soft, new leather accented by dusty clay pot. The entry is terroir-driven with bright, juicy cranberry acidity, sweet tobacco, further clay pot, and tar with infinitely small, dusty, mouth-filling tannin. The finish is medium length, dry and clean, anchoring this quaffable delight right in between a solo-sipper and your next cheeseburger’s best friend. Lot 829 came to our attention from one of the premier wineries in the Piemonte region, focusing on low-yield vines, hand-pruning to optimize clusters and ripeness, then hand selecting clusters that make it to press before aging in oak with a bit of further bottle conditioning before release. From cured meats to fried foods, from oven-roasted to charcoal-grilled meats, it’ll be harder to find a more ideal, versatile pairing wine, leave alone one at over half off the original winery’s price! Save 55% Save $12.00 Everything you'd ever want in a cool climate expression of Pinot Noir from the Sonoma County side of Carneros, with lots of tension and mouthwatering acidity. The aromatic intensity ushers in a bright frame of fruit, calling to mind cherries, cranberries, and raspberries. violet florals and earthy forest floor notes add intrigue. On the palate, those aromatics present tart, tense red berry fruits, and the wine is terrifically racy, with supple tannins that are present but not overpowering, rather bringing beautiful balance to the acid tension. Subtle oak notes in the wine add a frame to the fruit with terrific integration.

Save 17% Save $3.00 This is a versatile wine to keep on hand, made by premium Columbia Valley wine producers.
Lot 911 pours rich red, almost opaque in the glass. It opens up with a bouquet of black cherry, blackberry and cassis. Secondary notes of baking spice and tobacco lift out as you swirl your glass. The complexity on the nose at this price point is truly outstanding. On the palate this is a juicy fruit forward wine with really well integrated oak that is so subtle and just adds to the complexity of the flavor rather than over powering the fruit notes of the wine. The tannins are seamless and finishes off the experience to create this graceful, elegant Cabernet. Pair this with hard cheeses or pastas with a robust red sauce – it’ll go great with all the winter offerings you have on your table. At only $15 this is a versatile wine to keep on hand, you’ll never feel bad opening up this one on a random weeknight to go with dinner.
Sourced from one of the premium Columbia Valley producers we’ve used before (any fans of Lot 910 Sauvignon Blanc?) we knew we had to have this wine the moment we tried it. It’s another fantastic deal from a region in WA where an extra-long day during the summer growing season results in a juicy, fruit-forward, but not over-the-top wine. Save 55% Save $11.00 A mouthwatering Zinfandel that’s juicy and vibrant, grown in an area famous for consistently creating gorgeous wines.
Lot 889 pours a deep ruby-purple in the glass with mouthwatering brambleberry notes on the nose. On the palate, you’re greeted by juicy waves of blackberry, black plum, and a kiss of toasty oak with a vibrant, fresh, long finish.
California’s Lodi AVA has been one of the world’s most consistent producers of world-class Zinfandel, creating instantly recognizable reds that are impossible not to love, vintage after vintage. It’s no wonder why the classified source for Lot 889 2020 Lodi Zinfandel, along with other major players like Cline, Turkey, and Bedrock have made Lodi the spot for their most important reds.
Historically, Zinfandel has been the most important varietal planted in Lodi (an area that often gets incorrectly categorized as a hot region, when, in fact, climatically, it is more in line with regions like Napa Valley), creating bold, bright expressions of the grape. Currently, at just $16, this is one to grab a case or two of as it will pair marvelously with anything you pull off your grill, or just sip and savor on a warm evening on the patio.

Save 55% Save $11.00 A ripe-styled, full-bodied, intense, and richly-flavored red blend made from grapes with significantly smaller berry sizes translating into an incredible concentration of flavor and structure.
Full-bodied, intense, richly flavored, and yet also buoyant and energetic in the mouth, this 2021 red blend soars with handfuls of red and black fruit action. From the color, to the focus, to the flavor, everything is amped up to “eleven” on the dials with Lot 906, but don’t let the ripe style fool you; there’s a lovely, grippy structure here that will allow this release to rest gracefully in your cellar for a year or two!
Red blends are absolutely on fire lately and have always been one of our top sellers. Wines like Lot 906 2021 Wahluke Slope red Blend demonstrate why that’s the case. (red Blend fans will want to think about buying multiple bottles, why? Keep reading!)
This red blend from Washington State’s Columbia Valley showcases a unique, record-setting vintage for the region. 2021 absolutely shattered temperature records in eastern Washington, with a historic heat dome settling over the area. For an average wine-growing region, this would have been potentially disastrous. But because of the incredible vineyard management talent and overall health of the vines in Columbia Valley in general, the source vineyards for Lot 906 weathered the heat like champions, producing high-quality, intensely flavored, power-packed fruit (particularly for the region’s red wine varieties).
Berry sizes were significantly smaller, translating into grapes with an incredible concentration of flavor and fantastic structure (thanks to a higher than normal skin-to-pulp ratio, meaning more tannins to go along with all of that ample dark fruit action). The catch? Yields were way, way down, and much less red wine was made in 2021 as a result.
