Excellent red Zin.o Neil of my favorites. Very reasonable lay priced

The first impression I got was sweetness, to the exclusion of much else. I enjoy the sweetness of Zinfandel but, for me, this wine was over the top. However, when I added food to the mix, the sweetness subsided to a degree, which made the wine more palatable, thus my three star rating.

I will admit I don't recall ever buying a zinfandel! This was delicious! I usually go towards cabs, malbecs, or a merlot that's not too sweet. This might be one of my new favorites. Perfect balance of dryness and flavor! Very smooth, great aftertaste.
