On the finish, I say lingering. Depth in flavor without bitterness. Paired well with pizza sauce used as a dipper with bread. I imagine it pairs well with many foods. Steaks. Cheese. Charcuterie board. Nice burgundy color. Heady.

This is a nice mellow wine that I'll definitely drink again. I suspect this 3 year old is about at it's maximum though and likely to not age any better
