Gallorum by Bruno Lafon Blanc de Blancs Brut is a dry, sparkling white wine crafted in Languedoc in the South of France.
On the nose, hints of freshly sliced lemon and grapefruit play nicely with biscuit dough. The mouthfeel is light, with pillowy bubbles accenting white grapefruit and pomelo notes. A touch of sweet almond is evident on the finish.
Languedoc enjoys a privileged climate, marked by sunny, warm days, continuous breezes, and cool nights, creating excellent conditions for growing grapes. Traditional techniques were used to blend Chardonnay (50%), Colombard (30%), and Sauvignon Blanc (20%) to create this lively sparkler, which bears the name of winemaker Bruno Lafon.
Having grown up on an estate in Burgundy, winemaking runs in Lafon’s blood. His Gallorum line of wines reflects pure fruit expression, exuding a refined elegance indicative of the unique terroirs found in Languedoc and other regions across the South of France.
Gallorum by Bruno Lafon Blanc de Blancs Brut makes any occasion feel special. Serve chilled on its own or accompanying light salads, pasta and rice dishes, and raw or lightly cooked shellfish. This sparkler is delightful with fried chicken or buttered popcorn, as well.
